    Jelani Eddington

He's coming to Pittsburgh this February. I misplaced flyer, but I'll give Shirley a call down at Keystone Oaks and find out exactly what the date and times are.

A Jelani concert is a MUST-HEAR event for anyone who's in that area!

Q: How do you make a theatre organ sound like a church organ?

A: Take out all the GOOD stuff!

Lucky. He played at the Nethercutt on December 9th, (or something like that), last year. I missed that one because I didn't know that reservations had to made a month in advance. Tongue Tied

My God! if you haven't seen this incredible man work magic at the king of instruments, I highly recommend you going to this concert. It'll be worth it, believe me!

He has a book out which I bought.  "The Art of Theater Organ Arranging". I've had it about a month and use what's in it as part of my daily practice.  It's the best instructional music book I've ever used.  There are complete arrangements of four songs, complete with key modulations and explanations of the various aspects of the arrangement.  It's going to take me a long time to learn everything this book has to offer.
