Where to look for job positions/openings?

Hello everyone.  I'd like to find out if there's any websites I could go to in search of an organist position.  Google wasn't much help.  The layoffs finally caught up with me and i've been out of work for a month now, so i'm thinking of falling back onto my music after a 6-year hiatus...well ok, it's more like my stream of consciousness has been pulling me back in that general direction; maybe God's calling me again, who knows.  Anyone have any advice?  Many thanks in advance.

Re: Where to look for job positions/openings?

The Central Florida AGO chapter has a job listed (http://homepage.mac.com/cf_ago/cf_ago/index.html) on the "placement" page.  They also have a links to some local churches on the "links" page.  Contact a few of their organists or music directors.  They may be aware of openings that are not well publicized.

The national AGO also has listings (http://www.agohq.org/profession/indexjobs.html), but you have to be a member to view the details.

I don't know what denominations you might be interested in playing for, but I am a United Methodist and the umc.org website had job postings for music ministry positions.  You might pursue information from denominational websites in addition to the AGO postings.

Thanks for the responses, that should be enough to get me headed in the right direction.  It figures, as soon as I try to make other arrangements to work, my railroad job wants to call me back, even though there's little to no spots to work right now.  Anyway, so far i've played at UCC, Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopal and Baptist churches.  I've found a couple of those denominational websites in passing, but I figured i'd ask incase there's any more that would turn up in answers here.  Anyone else?
