Holtkamp/Hillgreen-Lane at First Church Christ, Scientist Cleveland

Here is the stoplist for the organ which is the subject of the thread "Where to find the builder". I do not have pipe counts on the stops, since the last time I was actually in the organ loft (which is really the chamber for the organ) was about five years ago. I also did not write down couplers (I don't know if this is standard practice or not). I'm interested in opinions on this instrument, I like it, but want to know what others on this forum think.

    Hi again-
I talked with Grigg Fountain about this instrument and he states very clearly that Walter Holtkamp never built an instrument for a Christian Science Church in Cleveland.  He did build a moderately sized instrument for the Unitarian Church (for Robert Shaw). That instrument has since had a large electronic addition.  They still have the Dowd harpsichord and a wonderful older Steinway that was purchased for Robert. Grigg was the organist at the time - the music was, well, Robert Shaw! Hmmmm!

I see, this, then, would explain why the Holtkamp Co. has no record of this installation, but, unfortunately for my interests, does not explain the origin of this instrument (besides 2909 Meyer Ave. in Cleveland).
