The Organ Forum

I inherited this organ from my great grandmother when I was little and I have never learned to play.  I think its probably a 1970 model.  Its free to a good home and anyone who is willing to come get it.  Please reply to this thread and I will give you my contact information and send you a picture.

In what state is the organ located?  (I assume you're in the US.)

I am SO tempted!  If distance weren't a factor, not to mention harmony (pun intended) with the other half (I've been limited to the current three organs in the house).....

I will mention this thread on the Lowrey Forum.  There are a great many dedicated Lowrey fans there.  I understand the sentimentality of wanting to place it where it will be cared for.

I just joined the organforum- and saw your message regarding the Lowrey Citation organ-

This is the organ that was housed at Market Square Arena & I played for the Indiana Pacers (organ... not basketball.... but, at the time, the organist was much better than the team:)

 

Have you sold/donated/otherwise placed the organ in a good home?
