Yamaha Electone HS-8566 viewsPurchased from the local Yamaha dealer as a demo model in the Summer of 1993.  The EL series had been out for a little while, but I always enjoyed the programmability of the HS series more.  A few drawbacks are a dry sounding rhythm unit and a mediocre on-board sound system.

Yamaha E-70U214 viewsMy Yamaha E-70U, the home version of the EX-2. This organ is quite versitile. Organ or synthesizer, it can do both. With such unusual features, (for an organ), as portamento, chorus, LPF, pitch bend, wah-wah, attack control, decay control, release control, octave transpose and an arpeggiator making it fairly capable as a synth. All the while still having the ability to sound like a variety of different organs with features like flute harmonic drawbars, orchestra preset sounds, vibrato controls, keyclick, reverb, variable speed internal Leslie, manual and pedal couplers, and user configurable presets.
