  • Re: Help needed to Configure Hauptwerk to my Keyboard

Hi,   I noticed this was a couple of months old so I don't know if you are still interested in an answer or not.    But if you are, it works like this.  Download Midi-OX from the net for free. (google it for the exact download URL). Invoke Midi-Ox and set it to monitor input.  Connect the keyboard to the midi ...

  • Re: Is it possible to add a stop to our Allen MOS-305B Organ?

The keying systems of MOS 1 and MOS 2 are not identical if multiple computers are involved.  In that case the keyboard multiplexing is moved to the SDDSMUX board from the Keyboard Array board where it resides for MOS 1 organs.  Multiple computer MOS 2 organs are not compatible with the Harrison system and last I spoke with them, they ...

  • Should I Midify a Baldwin HT2?

The question is: Should I gut my daughters' aging Baldwin HT2 and re-wire it for MIDI?  All the mechanicals (pedals, keys, tabs and push-buttons) are working. I got a Baldwin HT2 for my daughter about five years ago, but it is developing issues.  It has always hummed and occassionaly popped and screeched, but is now ...

  • Re: MIDI Basics-101

indianajo, ten years of Electronic Musician, Keyboard, and a few other magazines, as well as just getting in there and doing it were my only teachers. I was online back then, but it was such a new and niche market that I couldn't easily find many others to ask. Since it was also a hobby level endeavor, it was a matter of ''research ten times, and ...

  • MIDI Basics-101

Looking over this area, there seems to be a lot of confusion about MIDI. Here are some basics. I started working with MIDI in 1986, and did it almost daily for about ten years. There are surely new developments that I don't know about. I made a little money in this period selling jingles and demo tapes, but this is all really from a hobbyist ...

  • Midifying and organ while keepin' it working as a real organ.

I just got a hammond bc which I wanted to ''kill'' to midify it.  But I got hooked by the idea of restoring it to ''almost'' full B3 specs as well.  Do you think there's a way to have the organ be a Clonewheel midi controller while keeping it working as a real organ?

  • Digital Reverb Software

Hi, I am using the free version of Hauptwerk with the St. Annes Moseley sample set. I can't stand how dry the sound is! There is no reverb. I was wondering if there is a free or low cost software that adds reverb. Thanks. Joel
