Re: What kind of organ at St. Peters in Rome?

Yesterday the organ in St. Peter's was being played while the faithful were passing through. Very impressive sound. While I was watching, a piece was being played that made use of the chorus reeds. While the piece, which I did not recognize, was in a minor key, it was very majestic. It bore similarities to the Toccata from the Gothic Suite. At least those folks had some great organ music to listen too. Today while I was catching a glimpse, it was pretty quiet.
