    Greetings NYC,

Large, playable untouched Skinners in your area would be two 4m's in Toledo at Holy Rosary Cathedral and the freshly restored instrument at the Museum of Art. Theres a nice big restored Skinner at St. Luke's Evanston, IL as well. The biggie at Cleveland Auditorium will be heard at the 2009 convention.

All of the above have Solo French Horns by the way.

Keep your eyes peeled for open-console AGO events that take place from time to time!

    Best,

    - N

    fantastic question...

I've been thinking about it and while it would of course be awesome to play all the above mentioned organs,

What I would most like to play but have not is a large untouched (voicing) E.M. Skinner.

What are some ideas for a large untouched E.M. Skinner to play?

I'm particularly interested in trying out his famous French Horn to hear the "bubble" that he was able to obtain in that sound.

I agree, Orgrinder010. Soon (we all hope) it will be up and running again to it's original beauty and power!

I always thought It would be really fun to play the Atlantic City Convention Hall Organ. (As it was in the 1920's, of course!)
