You can create a clickable link easily with the Organ Forum's Rich Text editor. (This is set as the default for all users).
Click the editor's create link icon. (hint: it shows a link of a chain and when you mouseover it displays the words Create Link). Enter or paste your URL in the dialog box that appears.

So using the Create Link icon, here is your link:

      http://tinyurl.com/oszvl

Unfortunately, there seems to a problem using this feature with the current version of Firefox [], but it works fine with IE.

But not to worry, just typethe URLin yourmessage and it will automatically be clickable, like so:

      http://tinyurl.com/oszvl

Yes, it is a strange beast, but not unusual. There are whole museums full of such creatures, with pianosand glockenspielinside organs, and a few octaves of flutes, bells, and drums inside player pianos.

More recently, in the early 50sCMI built the "ORGANO", their first Lowery into the keyboard of a Story and Clark console piano. In the late 50s, Thomas built their model G single Keyboard into a Rippon piano, mounting it's 49noteKeyboard above the console's 88.

The problem is: I originally just typed the URL and it did not appear as a clickable link. A few days ago I put a URL in and it immediately was clickable. This time it wasn't and I went to the FAQ post to follow the instructions. I don't understand your instructions at all. What is the "Rich text editor" and how to I get to it?

If you go to the FAQ section, that is what the instructions say to do.

I've updated that FAQ on how to create the link.

I've added a FAQ entry on the Text Editors available on the forum.

A lot of things have changed and it will take some time before all of us, including me, are up to speed. If you are having a problem with something, please post it to the Help & Tips area for the most prompt response.

              Thanks.
