I wasn't sure what was going to happen at first.

Seems to be a sub-orbital prototype, though.

They're simple, flimsy contraptions and it's a miracle they work at all, much less so well (although not all do). You might want to mute the sound. The music is really annoying: http://youtu.be/Zad8RuKCl0s

So was the Antares, it turns out . . .

On the other hand, this country mate of mine just had his 5th successful launch:

            http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/...0KJ08120150110

Turns out they dropped the booster a little hard on the recovery barge after running out of hydraulic fluid

for the booster's steering fins. He says next time is a cert. If only my kid had that kind of drive and brains . . .

PT, Thanks for that and the mute button suggestion. That is some crazy stuff. I like when it goes into the crowd and everyone scatters. I wonder why we don't get to have this kind of fun. All we get is the same old fireworks from the city contracted brother in law with a fireworks catalog. Stefan, your crazy. By the way, what is your latitude and longitude? I have a surprise for you.

Nah, I have backup - my neighbor lady has a 100 x 50 Pole Barn that she rents out space.
