If you no longer wish to be a Forum member, send me a PM and request that your account be deleted. As pointed out in this thread, there is really is no need to do so. You can disable Forum email notifications, if you've enabled any of them, in your User Settings.
Deleting your account removes you from the membership roster which means that you will no longer be able to post or receive and send private messages here. Your posts and attachments remain on the Forum and available to the public, but your username and custom avatar will be removed from them. The advantage to being a non-member is that you get to see the ads hidden from members.😈

No real need to 'leave', as such. If you don't wish to post or join in threads then, as Nico just said, 'stay quiet' for a while and look in to see what's going on if you like. No-one will chase you or send you messages or emails etc. I'm not sure if Moderators can delete accounts, that's a task for Admin, I believe. A PM to Admin is the way ahead if you really do want your account deleted.
We will miss your contributions. I hope you continue enjoying your collection of instruments. It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
