Tangent Piano

I had never heard of the tangent piano (Tangetenflügel in German) before, but their is an interesting article in today's New York Times about the instrument with audio excerpts of Alexei Lubimov playing excerpts from a new album of the music of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. The examples display an incredible array of colors that this instrument can produce in skilled hands. If you are a lover of keyboard music, you are in for a treat. Here is the link:
