It probably wouldn't happen in my church, either--it does not allow either one of the "traditional" Wedding Marches because they are of pagan weddings. </P>
However, a former choir director (also a minister) told me about once when he was asked to officiate at a wedding between two choir members. The bride was one of the soloists and decided she wanted to sing the solo at the wedding. She rehearsed separately with the organist and it was not done at the rehearsal. Imagine everyone's surprise when, at the appointed place in the ceremony, she turned to the groom and sang "I'd Rather Have Jesus!"</P>

There'll be no Wagner at my wedding, i'll tell you that much. I can't stand any of his music, he was a talentless thief at best, and I'll have nothing to do with him. </P>
But I will be playing the organ myself at my wedding! [:D] I get laughs from people when I say that. They only laugh harder when I tell them I'm serious! </P>
