There is an ad listed on the forum today. The CL headline reads "Digital Organ with 3 great speakers." To which I would like ask, "any swell or pedal speakers?"

I recently purchased some used organ music. One of selections is an edition of Karg-Elert's Passacaglia, Variations and Fugue on B-A-C-H. The editor's note ends with this statement:

The present text was ... seen by the composer and was played to him shortly before his death by the editor.

Really? I did not know that Johannes Piersig was responsible for the death of Karg-Elert.

Well, here's an ad for a church organ: Church Organ - Working! Free! Pedalboard included!

Why would a person want the organ without the pedalboard? What were they going to do with the pedalboard if it wasn't included?:-P

I have a bag with pictures of organ manuals and the words: "Organists are great. And swell. And positif."

(And this is almost impossible to translate. People here know the word "great" in the sense of "big" or "marvelous" but only organ nerds know the additional meaning.)
