  • Another fine Conn organ...

For only $150 you can have this re-purposed Conn organ. (Not mine. Found on a Denver *raigslist ad today. Alcohol probably not included.)

That's wonderful! Someone should decorate an entire house with old organ consoles repurposed into tables and desks and cabinets. Wouldn't that be fun!

Half-pull makes a bird noise. Full out opens the wine cabinet.

I wish my Conn's woodwork looked as good... But if I schmoozelled enough boozem, it would look better.

This is the *only* suitable use I've seen for one of these Kimball/Conn PoCs, besides firewood 😀.

I'm guessing "piece of "cr**" -- polite version of POS.

Here is a photo of my organ bar, made from a 60's Kustom. Someone might shed a tear for this beauty, but when it was given to me for free, because it didn't work, I quickly discovered most of the electronics had already been gutted out of it. Of course I wired up the new interior lighting to the original power switch and made sure the jewel next to the switch properly illuminated.

While it it looked great in my bachelor pad back in the day, when I tried to sell it on craigslist a few years ago there was no interest.
