I received this email yesterday. I wrote Matt and asked him if I could post it on the organ forum for others to read. He agreed that would be great. Many of you write music and thought you might be interested.

I'm writing to you today to let you know of a project I'm working on with a friend called Holy Measures. It's a web site that gives independent composers of liturgical music (like myself) an opportunity to sell their sheet music online. And it would give music directors, worship leaders, youth ministers, etc., (like yourself) a chance to find and purchase some never-before-heard songs from up-and-coming artists. The rights of the composers are protected (buyers can only print out one copy per purchase), and the composers also receive a portion of each sale!<o:p></o:p></div> <o:p></o:p>Our site won't formally launch until January of 2009. But in the meantime, we've set it up so that composers can register and begin uploading their music. This way we'll have a nice healthy library when we launch in a couple of months.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p>If you have a few minutes, please visit us at www.holymeasures.com.
