Does anyone know what kind of memory card is used in the newer Rodgers organs used in churches? It is a 800 series I think.

I thought they were on USB memory but it's been a bit since I've seen them so could be mistaken. Give any dealer a call - they should know.

If the insert slot is about 1.5 inches wide it will use a Smart Media card (about 1.5 X 1.75 inches). They used to be the memory card for digital cameras. The 8MB size is plenty of memory for an organ. You can often find them on e-bay for about $8-10 each. If the organ is brand new it may use a USB stick. Rodgers just changed to USB recently.

It definitely depends on the year of manufacture. If I recall correctly, Rodgers supplied its own memory cards during the 1990's and even as possibly as late as the early 2000s. If it's an organ during these years, you may have to contact your local Rodgers dealer.....

It looks like the slot is about 1.5" and I think a smart card.

          Thanks for the help

All Rodgers digitals prior to the latest series used Smart Media cards, which are getting hard to find. However, adaptors are available to allow the use of a SD card (2 GB max), which are very common these days for cameras, etc.
