• Determining model number for Allen Digital Computer organ

We have one...can't figure out what model it is. Is there a sticker or something in this organ somewhere to help determine this?

    I've attached two pictures...thanks!

can't tell from the pics but if it has INTERNAL speakers built in the cabinet below the keyboards i'd say it is a 123C. Very first model of "computer" digital organs built by Allen. Mine is where I can't access it (5000 miles away or something like that) but there is a builder plate somewhere on it. on mine the back panel unscrews so maybe it is back there somewhere?

On most, if not all, Allen digitals, a plate with the model and serial numbers is fastened to the inside of the top rail running across the back of the organ. Life up the top from the front (on that organ you will have a screw to take out at the bottom on each side), and you should see it under one of the hinges. Bear in mind that the sides of the top part come up with the top.

My home organ is a Theatre III with an MDS II MIDI Expander.

The plate issometimes in the back when you pull off the screen for this particular cabinet. I'm on my second purchase for this cabinet. The first was made a trade-in for a Technics that I thought had the best Theater Organ sounds I'd ever heard.

Two years ago I got an opportunity to pick up another but it had a strange model number I still don't understand and had card reader and alot more combination action (broken of course or I wouldn't have gotten a buy on it). The second also has the pull down cover which wasn't on #1. I especially like that feature for storing the organ.

The backs are easy to remove. Just a couple of screws. The plate is usually in sight immediately somewhere near the top.

Not sure if it is a 301. My 301 has 6 general toepistons on the left side and 6 pedal toe pistons on the right, although you can tell in the picture if there are any at all. My 301 doesn't have the 5 thumb buttons on the right hand side under the swell. It looks close but I don't think it is a 301.

Thanks for your help! I've determined that this is a 301-3-C with two 16 and two 32 speaker cabinets. There are numerous cards with the organ and the card reader still functions.

I am hoping to trade for a Leslie 122 or 147 for this organ and speakers. Anyone interested? I'm also going to list this in the classifieds on this site. Contact me directly for more information.

You can see more/better pictures of the organ here:
