I just picked up a 3-manual Saville console. On it there are three thumb pistons whose purpose I don't understand. They are labeled "P-P", "G-P", and "S-P" and are located on the Positiv, Great, and Swell manuals respectively. Does any one have any suggestions as to what these are for?

Thanks for the suggestion. That would make perfect sense--and it certainly accounts for the labels on the pistons. By the way, I did notice three "extra" solenoids along the front edge of the capture mechanism and also several small printed circuit boards each labeled "Flip Flop". Maybe these things are for toggling the appropriate couplers on and off. I'll check that out tomorrow. If I can change out the twist-lock power plug for a standard plug, I will even see if anything still works after so many of the wires were cut.

I've verified that the pistons in question are indeed for pedal couplers for the three manuals and they are reversible. Closer inspection turned up three toe studs that do the same thing.
