• Help with Allen C-1

I have finally hooked up my Allen, and I have a question regarding the two knobs on the right side (black & green). When I turn them, the tones change, but I have been unable to determine any logic to the changes. Can anyone explain to me what they do?

    Thanks!

I'm not familiar with this model or these controls but there is a forum for the owners of older Allen organs at the Yahoo groups. You might get help with this question there. If not, contact your local Allen representative about service literature which should address the controls.

They are volume controls for the two generators: black for flutes and green for diapasons. All voices on this organ would be flutes except for two diapasons on the pedal (8' and 4'), three on the swell (16', 8', and 4') and three on the great (8', 4', and 2').
