• Stop List and service manual for a Rodgers Concord 760

    Hello,

I was just given [FREE] a Rodgers Concord 760. I have not seen the instrument as it is in storage. I have seen small digi-pixs of the console and it looks to be in great shape. I would like to know if anyone can tell me where I might finds a copy of the stop list for this organ. I have searched the internet and came up empty. I also went looking for a service manual for this instrument on the net - again no luck. Any ideas and suggestions where I might obtain one would be most helpful. The plan is to midize this instrument with an Aritsan system. Thanks a lot for your help.

PS. I am new to the forum and really appreciate the help I have received -- Thanks Guys. impressive community - I just read a thread on Concord 760 - interesting and helpful

Congrats, Armand. That's a nice console that's very suitable for conversion. I own a fully-functional late-production 760 with factory MIDI and Walker audio enhancements that we use for our local symphony orchestra/chorus performances.

If you send me a PM (personal message - use the Contact pull down on this message) with your email address, I'll send you a copy of the Rodgers brochure that contains the stop list and all the other specs.

The technical manual for this instrument is quite large, actually in two sections. The best place to obtain one is via your closest Rodgers dealer because is not practical to digitize (there are many foldout schematics).

Conversion to MIDI with the Artisan hardware should be straightforward. The keyboards and pedal board contacts are all on single contact buses that are readily accessible on the existing circuit boards and wiring. The drawknob and rocker tab contacts will be a little more work, but definitely doable.

That's a nice organ. I am blessed to own one as well.

You can start by going here and downloading the 740/770 manual. Stop list is very similar and the instructions of many operating procedures are the same. My organ did not come with a manual either and I didn't know how to access things such as the customizable Tutti and Crescendo until I read the manual.
