  • Ahlborn sl230

I bought this organ about 3 weeks back.
I want to know what some of the buttons are for.
    PL. I and II,
    S
    H R
    AP

    Thanks in advance.

How does plenum differ from tutti?

    Hi,

I am not an expert on this model, but I do know the SL-250. Sounds like you have a German version of the organ.

Plenum I and II would be a preset combination that is reversible that would have most of the flue chorus (Principals and Flutes).

S is for setter - you need to press that in along with the piston you are trying to program

H R - is like a recall to the last Hand registration

AP is automatic pedal, in essence a pedal to great coupler, but only plays the lowest note (with this on, the pedalboard is disabled.

Difference between Plenum and Tutti - the Tutti should have reeds in the combination.

    Cheers

    AV

Hey arie, you've been a great help! Thanks.
The organ does indeed have a german disposition.
