  • New Allen Organ Website

Allen Organ Company just overhauled their site.

    http://www.allenorgan.com/

    It's really fresh and nice.

I'm still not a disciple of Allen though.

    LOL!

It's easier to come up with a redone website than new products with new technology.

Still, I have a fond place in my heart for Allen. In Jerome Markowitz's book, he said he found out that Allen was not the first company approached by Rockwell about using digital technology to make organs. In fact Allen organ company was going to be the last company they tried. Kudos to Allen for having the foresight to see how potential in digital synthesis when their competitors didn't.

I nearly fell over when I saw the new site! Its fantastic! The old one was becoming... well old.

Seems they have now put higher resolution pictures up.

Now it seems the "listen" and "hear the specs" buttons still dont work for me. I wanna hear the Arp Schnitger, and orchestral samples!

Overall I like the new Allen website. I am not a big fan of Allen organs. I have visited the Allen showroom several times and played all the instruments in Octave Hall. It is nice to see a fresh design on the website.
