What do you think an ideal price is for a 2m/40stop organ?

I am curious if this question has a "consensus" answer.

I have noticed a lot of discussion on the Forum about digital organ prices. The price expectations seem to be over a fairly wide range, from the unrealistically low to somewhat over-inflated. One person even asked the question, "why can't someone build a good, cheap organ?" It is hard enough to find a consensus on what "good" is and what "cheap" is, but here is the question to those that wish to comment:

"What do you think an "ideal" price is for a 2 manual, 40'ish stop digital organ with 6 to 8 audio channels and high quality external speakers? (No brands, just prices in USD.)

I'd say a FAIR price, considering this instrument is of the utmost quality...basically, pipe organ-like console, sounds like a Phoenix (only digital organ newer than 5 years I've played/heard, so don't assume bias here) I'd say for a 2 manual 40 stopish, 25 000 USD would be fair. In my opinion, from what I gather, both sides SHOULD be satisfied with that. (if anybody kicks in with "25 000 for a toaster?!?, I gotta say that by this time, digital organ technology is EXCELLENT, and does a great job faking it, so if for 40 stops by the 15 000 per rank rule, you'd pay 600 000 normally, I think 25 000 is perfect....plus it'll last MUCH longer than the van my parents purchased for 25 000 CAN.
