Active Speakers & Subwoofers for Digital Church Organs
Which brand names (Behringer, Mackie, Definitive, DB, Peavey etc) are i.) reliable/durable ii.)suitable, and iii.) reasonably priced for digital church organ amplification. I am looking for active speakers/sub-woofers.
Thank you!
It is difficult to figure out what and why you are asking these questions.
Would be helpful if you included what instrument you want to hook this equipment to, how many audio channels you need, whether you need the sub-woofer to do a 32' Bourdon, size and acoustics of the sanctuary, etc.
You have to realize too, that if the active speakers are more than say 10' from the the preamp output, you will have to have balanced line outs.
Most of the brands listed do not make equipment that is particularly suited to organ tone reproduction.
I am in pro sound as a 30 year plus side business.....JBL-Pro!! All else are made in China and are Junk! Trust me on this I have ate enough back charges to know this!
