  • Internal Speaker Question

Our church was given an old Allen C123 organ. Works good and has external speaker. I would like to turn off the internal speaker. Does anyone know how to do that? I am used to a spot on the console to do that but I do not see one.

If the organ was setup to allow external speakers in addition to the internal ones, there ought to be tabs labeled "main organ off" and "antiphonal organ on"; or "console speakers off" & "external speakers on"; tabs would most likely be in the "generals" section.

If the organ wasn't ordered with external speakers option, the tabs are likely blank and the relays to do the switching would be missing.

If you are looking to permanently disable the internal speakers, disconnect them where the speaker wires terminate in the organ or at the amplifiers.

    Toodles.
