  • ISS Stop electronics

Anyone ever heard of this company that manufactures the draw stop electronics and memory system for various organs. Was last located in Erie, PA. ISS Organ Div. "Quality Electronic and Electrical Components for the Organ Industry" Can't seem to find anything through Google.

IIRC they were (about 20 years ago) providers of organ switching and electronic extensions of pedal stops. I don't believe I've ever encountered one of their switching systems but did see one or two of their pedal extensions. These were effective if I'm remembering the right system, but definitely not in the same league as more recent digital sampling efforts. I think they advertised in the organ journals back then.

Perhaps you mean SSL (Solid State Logic), apparently now called Solid State Organ Systems (SSOS).

        Hi Mark,
No its definitely ISS. I have drawings and schematics of their work thats in my Conn 905 service manual. I was really wondering if they are still around, under maybe a new name or had been acquired by someone else?
