There's a Baldwin 48C organ in great cosmetic condition in the next town over that's gonig to be crushed unless I grab it. I'm told everything functions except all of the "C" keys on the manuals do not play. Is this a big deal? Worth me even looking into? That's pretty much all the detail I have.

Hi, Dave;
Here's the scoop on the 48C (from my Electronic Organ Reference List):
BALDWIN 48C 1968 Transistor divider 32 2 console
All the C's come out of one tone generator circuit board and should be easy to find with a simple audio signal tracer. If you are in need of a service manual, I have this one for sale from my collection:
48C @ $14 + pack&ship. PayPal accepted.

I have two old Baldwins and one needs work on a generator board. It wouldn't stop me from purchasing an organ if the price is right. Access to the generator boards is easy and they are modular. You can rebuild it yourself if you feel handy with a soldering iron. If not you can send it away. Look at our previous Baldwin threads to get the contact information for America's top expert in Baldwin.
I did a trace to one of my previous threads: "I traced through MITA a new listing for Robert Spoon who is the first source for information and repair of Baldwins.
He is now located 508 Driftwood Lane, Rogers, Ar 72756 Phone 479-696-8218. I hope this information will be helpful to others in need of his expertise."
