I've always wanted MIDI on the Rodgers T787 I play. I don't see that happening so I have to get a little creative. I can hook up our digital piano via its L and R ports to the organs Aux ports. That allows me to play the digital through the organ speakers. But I find the twisting I have to do play both unnatural and uncomfortable (although I suppose that's the way old school organists like Jesse Crawford added the piano melody line to their recordings) so I'd like to play the digital through the organ keyboard itself. I can easily get a MIDI cable but beyond that, I really don't know how to precede. Is there any point in doing this at all and if so, how do you let the organ control an outside keyboard? Would I need to start with the MIDI settings listed on the control panel?

Can a Rodgers T787 be a MIDI controller?

Mak, if you are referring to recordings Jesse Crawford made on many theatre pipe organs, the piano sound was a real acoustic piano he could play from any manual, along with the pipe stops.
His Hammond recordings required an entirely different technique.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Rodgers T787.

What you are requesting looks reasonably easy to do, but before I can give any advise I have a couple of questions:
Do you have a copy of the Rodgers T787 Operations Manual?
What type of digital piano are you using (brand and model)?
