hi ! has anybody out there ever heard of an allen organ model 1116t , is it a tube type or a transistor type ? and how good is this organ ?
please let me know !
Could be an 1160, which was a late ADC (actually MADC) model. Would have been built in the late 80's and if not abused should be an excellent purchase. There is a lot of material in the forum about ADC/MADC Allen organs, and many members own one. ADC models were not usually equipped with MIDI, but otherwise hold up very well against even today's digitals in terms of sound.
The 1160 would have self-contained speakers, two standard manuals and standard AGO pedalboard. Probably has a complete moving-tab capture action too. A rather nice organ to own.
