  • Allen ADC 220 Brochure

    Hello,

This is my first posting to the Organ Forum.

Does anyone have access to a Allen ADC 220 factory brochure, that they can send to me via pdf?

    Thanks,

    Jan

    Jan,

Yes, I do. However, I won't e-mail it to a member with less than 100 or so posts. Did you check the Brochure section of the gallery? http://www.organforum.com/gallery/th....php?album=128

Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
    • MOS-2 Model 505-B / ADC-4300-DK / ADC-5400 / ADC-6000 (Symphony) / ADC-8000DKC
    • Lowrey Heritage (DSO-1)
    • 11 Pump Organs, 1 Pipe Organ & 7 Pianos

There isn't anything in the brochure section of the gallery.

Why does my less than 100 or so posts have to be a factor?

        Jan:
Spam is a serious issue all over. Welcome to the forum. Since you have asked about Rogers and Allen, are you in the market or contemplating? For the Allen, possibly the Allen Organ website can help you under "Support" - Owners Manuals - older models. The manual does not give much technical info but it will give you a stop list and any add-on etc. They have most models of the ADC organs, manufactured in the 80s.

The ADC 220 Owner's Manual is available on the Allen Organ site at: http://www.allenorgan.com/www/suppor...rsmanuals.html

It is combined with the 420 & 520 models, so watch the asterisks in the stoplist.

            • Those who have been on the Forum for a while have seen endless requests for multitudes of information from those who only makes one post, collect the information, and leaves--never to contribute to the Forum or the organ community again. That does get discouraging.
            • Another reason is because PDF files can only be transferred via e-mail, and I'm not in the habit of providing my e-mail to people I do not know--publicly or privately.
            • Yet another reason is because every file I transfer/upload comes from the quota Admin has set aside for my participation on the Forum. I'd rather not spend it on a one-timer (your number of posts at the time I first read your request).
            • Finally, Allen brochures are copyrighted, therefore, it is not good practice to provide copyrighted material in a public manner to someone I don't know.
            • Other reasons are personal (think maximum security).

I hope this clarifies my response adequately.
