  • Rodgers C-505 Problem



    The pedals are extremely loose, and some are so loose they bounce up and down a few times after being pressed down. How do you tighten these?</P>

    If it's similar to the C-440 at my church (probably) it's rather
    easy.It's happened to me a lot. Take your bench out of the way, and
    under where the bench usually sits, is the wooden cover for the back of
    the pedals. Remove all the screws, and at the back of each pedal, you
    should see another screw. Tighten it and try it out till it's good.
    Real easy.

      Move your bench. Remove the screws on the cover for the back of the
      pedalboard (directly below the bench when you're sitting at the organ)
      Each pedal should have a screw on the back of it. Tighten em. That's
      how it's done on the C-440, I imagine yours is similar. Good luck. It's
      real easy.
