Has anyone had the chance to try out one of Van Der Poel's Organs? Having recently sampled a three manual machine of the aforementioned builder, I must say one gets pretty darn good value from their instruments. Here's their website:
I have not tried them out, but based on my research of them, they would seem to be well-built, hardware-wise. I believe they use a synthesis approach to sound generation and are not sample based. That is another topic for discussion, but most people on this board seemed to be convinced of the merits of sampling over synthesis. In any case, their recordings sound reasonable....</P>
