• Channelling Sound on a Johannus organ

    Hello,

Does anybody know if it's possible to "channel" the sound from one manual on a Johannus Organ? (It's an Opus 20). For example: I'd like to leave the Great connected to the internal speakers, but connect the Swell to external speakers. There is an AUX out, but that connects the entire organ to the speakers.

    Thanks,
    Clarence

When the organ senses that the AUX out is being used it re-routes all the audio that way. You would have to bypass that switch and hard wire the audio output for the Great into the internals and the swell into the externals.

I would consult your local Johannus dealer or technician to see if that is possible. My guess is ... not very easily. It's probably controlled by software ... but there may be a way to re-program it.

Yeah, basically what I'm asking is how to add an antiphonal.
Couldn't you just re-route all of the audio into some kind of reciever and divide it up there? Actually, that probably wouldn't work...hmm
