Hallo, if i deenergise my Allen organ (System 202), the external speakers do promtly a "plop" sound, but not loud. Not always, not every day.
My Allen play with a Mackie VLZ 402 as Preamp and with a Alesis Microverb 4 Reverb.
Is the "plop" sound normal or not?
That happens when the speakers get the signal before the amplifiers are turned on. There is a mute relay built into Allen organs to prevent this from happening. I'm not sure how the chain looks as far what is connected to what, but you may have bypassed the mute relay.
That said, you may be able to resolve the issue by putting at least one of the devices on the delayed power connection. That way, the "plop" has occurred before the signal is sent to the speakers.
I would wait for the organ techs (jbird604 & tuscondave) to respond first, however, because they know the details of the power chain and what signal goes where. Meanwhile, could you provide the way chain of how your equipment is connected (i.e. cage signal>mixer>microverb>speaker)? That would help them help you.

P.S. I hope your Allen has been working out well for you since you bought it.
Way too many organs to list, but I do have 5 Allens:
Look at John's latest post to your other thread (http://www.organforum.com/forums/sho...601#post373601). In it, he refers to the mute relay and where it takes place. That should provide at least beginning information for you.
