  • Organ Jacks / Dollies Anderson Dolly

A while back, I was looking to purchase a set of organ jacks. I found that the Jet brand was no longer available and the Roll-n-Karis were over $700.

I ended up purchasing a product from andersondolly.com They are located in Ohio and sell a product that performs somewhat similar to conventional organ jacks, if somewhat unconventionally. I paid for mine on Thursday and they were at my house on Friday.

I was slightly skeptical that these would work. They have a video on youtube (enter anderson dolly in the search window), showing a young lady lifting a large vending machine with ease. But, to be honest, when I strapped these to a two manual Allen, she could have lifted it all by herself, as they really are almost effortless. The only thing they are missing are the horizontal handles of more 'conventional' jacks, that allow you to get some leverage in tight spots. But they work just fine without them.

So, if you are in the market, give these a look see and tell us what you think.

When I lived in Lancaster County, PA, I rented out the local hardware store's organ dollies so many times that I think I probably paid for it! I actually priced one similar to what you mentioned, and I was blown away with the price- a lot more than I expected. I hope you get good use out of yours!

Well, I basically called and asked em if they had any scratch and dent sales. I'm sure he was grinning, but probably not afterwards, as I think I really got a very good deal and they work flawlessly.
