I have the hard copy of the 830 technical manual, and there is nothing at all in it about MIDI, so I don't think the tech manual is what you need.
If you do find a copy of the original MIDI instructions, please share with me--I have a 755 MIDI adapter and think I could install it my 830 if I can get a copy of the instructions to install it (I suspect it is the same MIDI board) but need to know what eproms to order from Rodgers if they are still available.
