  • Subharmonic processor for generating 32' stops from 16' stops in realtime?

I ran across info on the Behringer Ultrabass Pro EX1200. It's a subharmonic processor which generates tones an octave or two below the source.

It's not made anymore, and the current dbx models don't go below 20hz (the Behringer goes to 16hz), but I wondered if it could be used on an organ which only has 16' stops to generate 32' stops. The sound from the processor could be run into it's own beefy subwoofer.

    Has anyone ever tried it?
    Viscount C400 3-manual
    8 channels + 2 reverb channels (w/ Lexicon MX200)
Klipsch RSX-3 speakers and Klipsch Ultra 5.1 subwoofers

There was a YouTube video of someone using a subharmonic process on a Casavant organ. Of course, that necessitated a full audio system.

No, but I would like to try this on a moderately sized digital organ:

The only YouTube videos I've seen are with a guitar.
