  • Gotta get rid of some stuff

    Hi,

Does anyone besides me (being an organ servicer), end up with a pile of stuff that keeps growing, and at the same time becomes less valuable.

I recently got rid of some stuff, and it felt really good to see it gone. Those parts belonged to Musicom based digital organ, and included power supplies, amplifiers, solnoid boards to drive drawstops, etc. The organ was built approx 25 years ago, and there are only a few of those around here.

I have some Allen stuff. A MOS 1 board (code A 146) which works. Another one a MOS 1, board, half ( or one side works) code is B 246 FS SP. Also have a couple of amps, which did work. Also, have power supply, an assortment of boards.

Have numerous boards from an old analog Cantor organ, This organ was a 3 manual instrument from the late 80s. Technology was based on top octave synthesis and dividers ( IC used was TMX3617ANS).

I also have some first generation Viscount digital stuff, useful for service parts.

And not to be forgotten, have several racks of AOB amps, tone generators, combo action and multiplexer boards.

If any interest, let me know.

One of the reasons it is taking me twice as long to get ready to move as a "normal person" is finding new homes for much of the electronic equipment I used during my career as an electrical engineer and the organs I do not want to move.

But Arie, I'll chastise you here. You've been on the forum for many years but your profile does not show what continent, let alone what country or state you live in. I suspect you would get a better response if you were not so circumspect about your location since some things are better handled in a local pickup rather than shipment.
Larry is my name; Allen is an organ brand. Allen RMWTHEA.3 with RMI Electra-Piano; Allen 423-C+Gyro; Britson Opus OEM38; Steinway AR Duo-Art 7' grand piano, Mills Violano Virtuoso with MIDI; Hammond 9812H with roll player; Roland E-200; Mason&Hamlin AR Ampico grand piano, Allen ADC-5300-D with MIDI, Allen MADC-2110.

As stated in the Forum Rules, available or wanted items should be placed in the Forum Classifieds, not in the discussion area. I'm closing this thread for now and will remove it at a future date.

The Forum Classifieds are free and can be accessed through the Classifieds tab at the top of the page.
