I found an ad for a free Rodgers Jamestown II close to me, and was wondering what you guys thought of that organ? I saw one on NYCFarmboy's site, so I'd be curious what he thought of his. Is this an organ worthwhile getting? It looks to be an AGO spec console with 2 manuals. I listened to the demo clips on NYCFarmboy's website, and it sounded pretty nice. Certainly it's not in the same class as their 330, 550, etc models, but just wondering if it would be alright as a poor man's home practice organ?

a good standard practice organ, I donated my 100 to a organ student so no longer have it but I found it a nice organ, and would be just fine for practicing.
Just got an e-mail saying the organ's still available. How would you suggest moving one of those? What did the guy who received yours do to move it? Are they insanely heavy?

Just trying to figure out how viable it would be to get one in my place. The price is certainly right, so if it's reasonable to do and won't get anyone injured, I'd definetly be interested. Of course I have been eyeing up a Hammond X-77..lol- (see thread in Hammond section)
