I am considering buying an Allen MDS-26 organ to be used in a small auditorium. It has 4 channels. My organ tech said it was fairly easy to configure the organ to two channels. Two channels will work better in the room where the organ will be installed.
Are there line inputs on the mixer board of this organ? This would be needed to use an MDS-Expander MIDI module or other sound module. My home organ, an MDS-25(2 channel), has this capability.
Is it possible to have a 2 channel line output from the MDS-26? Occasionally I will need to do a 2 channel audio recording of the organ. I could use a microphone, but it would be much better to have a line out jack from the organ for improved sound quality.
My organ tech added an earphone jack to my MDS-25(2 channel) at home which provides a good line out. However for the MDS-26 I would just need a line out jack to plug into somewhere. Is there a way to do this?
