Someone is in possession of the wiring diagrams of the Viscount C160 Grand class? I'd need it to try and repair it.

    Thanks Andrea

    Hi,

Have you contacted Viscount for schematics?

I don't recognize the model, so it is likely that this is a European style model.

The Grand series was Viscount's first generation digital. A few of the Grand Opera three manual instruments were imported into the USA if memory serves me correctly. I played one on a visit to Singapore. It wasn't bad but the internal speaker system didn't handle full organ very well. I have a sales brochure on the Grand somewhere in my collection of things. If any one is interested, message me and I will find it and scan it to you via email.

Unless they used the same number and model name a second time, the C160 Grande Class was in fact a home organ from the early 1970s, but one with full manuals and pedalboard. Sadly, not particularly well made and unreliable even when it was new. If yours is the one shown in the photo, then it will probably cost more to fix than it will to find a newer replacement organ.

It's not what you play. It's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.

OK thanks. I have a friend who is able to fix it only that I would need the wiring diagram to detect the fault.
