Howard D911 organ power supply problems

I have been reading that the Baldwin classical organs like the D911 made in Europe have power supply problems like the battery leaking and damaging the circuit board and combination action problems, etc... I have also read that parts for these organs are not readily available. I thought perhaps that someone has been able to modify the boards or replace parts that can solve the issues. Thank you

A number of manufacturers mounted a memory battery right on a very complicated digital board. If the battery leaks, it can damage the board. The simple fix is to replace the battery and move it to a safe place by just adding wires to extend it.
