Does anyone know about this model? Is it reliable? A friend of mine is trying to buy one for the church he goes to. He says he was told it is about fifteen years old. He says if he gets it, it's going to have to last for at least another ten years under normal church conditions. Thanks,</p>
This is a late model analog from Rodgers. My guess is that it is more like 20 years old. I think it was about the smallest model in the Rodgers lineup, so don't think of it as a large organ. It has I believe a single set of tunable oscillators, 3 different keyers, the celeste was a celeste effect using a phase shifter, and has 3 audio amplifer channels. The large stop list comes from extensive unification. It may have an elementary MIDI implementation on it. They tend to be reliable, but it must be said Rodgers does not have a great record of support for pre-Roland organs (just about all analog organs).
