Allen AP-4 dimensions

Does anyone have the exact console dimensions for the Allen AP-4? I have looked through the owner’s manual on line, no dice. Can’t find it here either. Thanks.

Here is the brochure--dimensions are on page 2. Make sure you look at the info for the AP-4, as the AP-3 is a different console.

Just what I was looking for. thanks. Is there a headphone jack? The specs don’t mention one so I assume there is none but that seems odd for this type of organ.

I doubt that either of these organs included a headphone jack as standard. But this is a 2-channel organ, and that makes it a lot easier to add one. One option would be to use the antiphonal relays (if they are installed, as they would have been optional) to turn off the speakers, and use the amp outputs to drive headphones. You would want to use series resistors with the headphones to keep the volume at a reasonable level and not kill the headphones with too much power.

Allen made a kit to add a headphone jack, but you'll be amazed at how much your dealer would charge for it! Allen accessories are expensive. But maybe the dealer has worked out a scheme with non-Allen parts (which for this option isn't really an issue) at a reasonable cost. Ask, if you are serious about either organ.
