The "master volume" should bea rotary knob located to the left of the manuals. I believe the only other volume adjustments are on the amplifier cards located in the card rack in the rear of the organ. There are bass and treble adjustments on these cards also. This is the way things are set up on my Opus 1430, which is a larger, 3 manual instrument. If you want any additional info, please e-mail me at .

I've contacted the Organ firm about an open fault on one of the pedal notes anyway down the volume problem. Do you think this is right?
The volume can be modified on the organ by a series of potentiometers. However,
my understanding is that it is currently at a maximum that can be delivered
          without distortion of the speakers.

The Organ itself was built around 1989-1993 shows you hold old this organ is anyway I had a quote for UL Speakers consisting of:

£1,830 total cost nearly £3,000!! With a speaker Box the UL Speakers are Either UL3000 or UL3300 and UL110 Speakers

The Current sound (Internal Speakers) is definitely not right

You need to bear in mind that the Opus 1105 was never designed to be a church
instrument, this was built by Johannus for home practice only, so based upon
this there no doubt could be limitations with its
          use.

What do you guys think is the best option?

          Many thanks

Re: Johannus Opus 1105 "Master Volume" ("Regualting the Stops")

So theres no updates on this then??

Basically you would obviously seen my videos on youtube but what I'm wanting to know do you know how to "Regulate" the stops on this organ? I've read up on the voicing software "Intonat Pro" this is done via a Laptop feeding through the Midi In/outputs via the Laptop to the organ.

I've question the Organ Builders from Makin Organs this is what they had to say...........

            Thanks Rob

Hello

I have looked into
this. The organ you have was produced before this software was made, hence it
does not work with Intonat at all. According to the individual instrument there
            remain two possibilities:-

If there is a ribbon cable connector
under the keyboards, we can attach what is colloquially known as a Barry Box to
the instrument which allows some voicing to be done. This is potentially a
            lengthy and therefore costly process.

If there isn’t a ribbon connector
underneath, then all that can be done is altering volumes by changing resistors.
Again, this is a lengthy process.
Re: Johannus Opus 1105 "Master Volume" ("Regualting the Stops")

Back that Time I was in contact with Rex.

And today I went to the Church to look at this suitation.

There where a number of cards on this organ, I found what was believe the amplifier control basically there where Three Settings:

"Output" "Output" "Input" these where all adjusted to 12 O Clock I increaed them fully and the sound bounced back up.

I decided to look again further at the other cards there were 4 Other Cards or "Voice Cards" Which all belonged to the stop names on the organ eg "Trombone" Subbass" ect there was a rotary control setting which I assumed it was the volume it made a good difference, I went through the other cards and made the necessary adjustments.

              Looks better for the moment.
