I am looking for any recordings of analog Rodgers organs- particularly any done by forum members! If any of you have ANALog Rodgers organs and have made any recordings, please post a link here. I remember there was one member who did one that sounded really good, but I can't remember who it was! I just remember that it was recorded from the headphone output and was saved as a WAV file on Zshare.net

I think there are CDs of Virgil Fox playing the touring analog Rodgers in the "Heavy Organ" concert series.

I actually do have one of those CDs- Bach Live in Filmore East. It is intriguing, but I wasn't overly impressed with the recording quality, even if it was in the 70s. At higher volumes with reeds it gets pretty distorted. Many times it sounds like it was just recorded from a record to the cd. I took a closer look at the cd case, and there is zero copyright information on it, plus it isn't the same design as on the record, so I highly suspect Cafepress is illegally copying records onto CDs. How else would they have all these albums on cd that are only available on record any where else?

I also encountered missing data on the Passacaglia on my Live in Filmore East album. This results in painfully loud static that comes and goes without warning. I've tried it on many cd players with the same result. It is clear that their transfer system is flawed and pathetic. This is unprofessional and will result in no further support from me.

Just my thoughts anyway. I actually went ahead and bought the record off ebay so I could hear the Passacaglia properly. I don't remember where I put it. I have over 400 records spread throughout the apartment.

I'll be putting up some more recordings soon- yes that was me who made the Rodgers 100 analog recording. The piece was Galleries Ancien by Dennis Janzer- thanks for the complements!

I have a file on that website of my Rodgers 100 analog organ...my playing is not good here- the purpose is only to show some of the sounds the organ can make.
