I posted this earlier in the wrong tag. This Allen ADC3100 plays well, has 4 speakers, and looks brand new. Allen dealer is offering it for $7000 with free delivery and set up, and one year guarantee. I am trying to replace a 3-rank Wicks which is too big for the house I now have. I would appreciate any opinions from the experts on this Allen, and is $7000 a reasonable price? I am a new member and still have a little trouble finding my way around the forum. It has already helped me on several subjects. Thanks so much. Tom

Re: Allen ADC3100
$7000 is high, but it is a nice little organ, and free delivery and setup is worth something, as is a one year guarantee. If set up right, you will be happy with it for quite a while. The drawknob console is as cute as they come.Mike
My home organ is a Theatre III with an MDS II MIDI Expander.
I also have an MDC 10 Theatre spinet.

Re: Allen ADC3100
Thanks so much to m&m's for his reply about this ADC3100. I forgot to ask if this model would be able to control any pipes in the event I find a bigger home some day. Also, I remember that there was no mixture on the swell. This seems unusual for a 1985 church/classic organ. Any comments or other opinions would be appreciated. Tom

Re: Allen ADC3100
Check that specification again. I seem to remember that there was a mixture on the swell. You would not be able to control pipes directly from the console, but it is possible to put Midi on it and control them that way. It might be possible, if you wanted a completely pipe organ (no Allen digital sounds) to redo that console; I don't know exactly how, but maybe some other person on the forum would know more about it. Allen, back in those days, apparently had not yet conceded to the feasibility of marrying pipes and electronics.Mike

Re: Allen ADC3100
The ADC3100 did not offer a swell mixture, but had a Sifflote 1' instead. It's replacement, the 3160 had a swell mixture, but no Sifflote 1'. I have an ADC 3160 and find it an exceptionally nice little instrument. The 3100 is about as nice.
