Has anyone ever had the issue of the expression pedals controlling the wrong divisions. I recently acquired this instrument and the swell expression pedal is controlling the great choir and pedal and the swell is controlling the great.
Thanks in advance for any any help with the issue.
I would check with an Allen technician/repairman. It sounds like someone switched the wires connecting the expression pedals. My Sunday morning office is at the very same model and is a very nice instrument to play!
I agree it could be as simple as a misplugged cable(s). Do they use expression on the MUX board like the ADC organs? If so you can trace the twisted pairs from the shoes to the connectors on the MUX board and just swap them. But I 'll let others chime in on this.
Can't play an note but love all things "organ" Responsible for 2/10 Wurli pipe organ, Allen 3160(wife's), Allen LL324, Allen GW319EX, ADC4600, many others. E-organ shop to fund free organ lessons for kids.
Can't say that I've run into this issue before, but the problem is probably as identified above. Look at the expression pedals and observe the wire that runs from each shoe assembly to the GC-IFC-1 board (a medium size rectangular board mounted above the great/choir shoe on the back of the kneeboard). There should be a red wire from one shoe and an orange one from the other. The crescendo shoe may have a blue wire. The red and orange wires may have been swapped by accident, as they are on adjacent plugs.

I agree with what you said about the plugs being swapped. Could be as simple as moving the plugs. The plugs may have numbers on them to plug into their proper places.
