  • power connectors on Allen

I need to replace some 4 pin power connectors that go the ADC series Allen MIDI and USCM boards. It's a 4 pin Molex, I believe.. Anyone have the exact specs on that type?
Can't play an note but love all things "organ" Responsible for 2/10 Wurli pipe organ, Allen 3160(wife's), Allen LL324, Allen GW319EX, ADC4600, many others. E-organ shop to fund free organ lessons for kids.

If they are the IDC connectors, they are Tyco/Amp connectors. The smaller plugs, usually red or white with the smaller wires are MTA-100 series. The larger type usually used for power, usually red or orange with the heavier wires are MTA-156 series. I suggest getting a tool for inserting the wires into the plugs. I would also advise getting a few extra connectors in case you bend a pin while inserting the wire into the plug. Do NOT strip the wires, the wire with the insulation gets pushed into the connector and the pin pierces the insulation. Practice on a connector before attempting the connectors in the organ. Hope this helps.
